Porto’s Bakery in Northridge is an absolute gem that delivers both in taste and ambiance. The spacious, modern location provides ample parking and a comfortable dining area, making it ideal for both a quick bite or a leisurely catch-up with friends.
One of my favorites is the media noche sandwich, boasting perfectly balanced flavors that satisfy every craving. The potato balls with ground beef (papa rellena) offer a savory, hearty bite, while the cheese rolls are delightfully satisfying with their crispy texture and cream cheese filling.
Beyond these savory treats, Porto’s cakes are simply irresistible—delicious, economical, and perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just a treat-yourself day.
Overall, Porto’s Bakery Northridge combines quality, flavor, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit destination for all food lovers. Every visit leaves you excited to return and explore more delightful offerings from Porto’s.

I think we all love Porto's, because the line is usually out the door. My favorite usuals are the Cheese Rolls, Guava & Cheese, Flan, Dulce de Leche Besitos, Cheese & Spicy Peppers Potato Balls, and an Horchata Latte. Get the Latte in the 16oz container though, because you get much more for roughly the same price. Also, their Guava lemonade is very good, and they have those in 16oz too. I've recently been trying the lunches here, and they are all fantastic, especially the pork and steak--I love the fried plantains that they put on top, and the meat is cooked perfectly. I have also tried the Strawberry Shortcake, the Tres Leches, and the Carrot Cake; all of them were very good, but I think I liked the strawberry shortcake the most. I've also recently tried the Hazelnut Eclair, and it was truly amazing. There is also nothing else like a fresh loaf of sourdough from Porto's. If you've never bought a loaf of bread, especially sourdough, from here, you really must :)

So many options to love. This time we got cake. We stopped by again and tried the food. Everything was great. Jaime helped us with silverware and to go containers. Cheerful attitude and very pleasant experience.

Long lines but, staff worked hard to move it quickly.
Ordered a sandwich and staff dropped the ball, waited just about 30 minutes and they seemed to not care about taking care of my sandwich knowing they forgot to make it for me. Reached out to a supervisor and right away got them to make me one.

Easy parking, crowded, everykind of cakes, clean, good service, tastefulness, reasonable prices. Result: full satisfaction.
I can not wait for tasting 🇨🇺 cuban sandwiches. Thank you for Porto family's vision
