When you go to California, you go to Porto’s! Be prepared to line up. The store is packed which tells you how great this place is. Brought home boxes of bread back to Canada so others can try their heavenly baked goods. We dined in and had their Cuban specialty. To be honest, it’s better than the food we had in Cuba.

For the past 17 years I have celebrated Wiseman Day with my wife. Part of the celebration includes the Rosca. For over three decades my wife brought this celebration to life in her office. This year for the first time we chose Porto’s for this uniquely special bread. WOW! I cannot see us buying the Rosca anywhere else ever again. For us we bought a couple of mini loaves. One would have been enough for the two of us. But having two loaves meant that I didn’t have to share. For her office we purchased a more traditional circular loaf. Her office is still talking about it days later. Once again Porto’s proved themselves to be the preeminent bakery in the Valley.

Porto's Bakery & Cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's a destination in itself. The moment you arrive, you're greeted by a stunning building that exudes charm and elegance, promising a delightful experience. The beauty of the location is matched by its convenience, with ample parking that makes a visit stress-free.
Once inside, the spacious interior and abundant seating ensure you can relax and enjoy your meal, whether you're dining alone or with a group. And then there's the food—the heart of the Porto's experience. The menu is a testament to consistency and quality, with every item, from their famous potato balls to their delectable cakes, being consistently delicious. It’s a place where you can count on a fantastic meal every single time.

This place is always so busy!!! I came to pick up four cakes and they took the time to write my son’s name on them. Jaime was so sweet and helped me carry the bags to my car because I had my baby in the stroller. The only thing I wish they would do is add more cream to the fruit tarts. Other than that!- I love Portos!

Hey there. Love the desserts Cheeserolls here at Portos. I just had an issue with an overcooked Caldo De Res. I only live 8 minutes away.
As soon as I got home I ate it straight out the bowl and it was soooo bitter! Everything was overcooked. Soup tasted like it was sitting for awhile all day. They put a lime in there and perhaps that could've killed the flavor and brought on the bitterness.
Im not trying to attack Portos. Just want to bring this to their attention for future references. I had to throw it away after 3 bites after waiting 15 minutes. Thank you.
