This place is amazing, a nice little marketplace, deli, and restaurant all in one. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have so many different things, huge selection for food, drinks, and snacks. A few indoor seats and a large outdoor patio. The panini I got was toasted to perfection and delicious. Overall really great place for lunch.

I have been coming here for years. The Thursday sandwich special is my favorite, Turkey on baguette with other deliciousness that makes it perfect. Next, I like to get two meatballs warmed and plated with marinara sauce to eat there.
One of these days, we will plan out our Hollywood Bowl trip far enough in advance and pick up one of their Pinic Basket options. Something to look forward to trying!

Absolutely amazing experience. Got to meet John (one of the owners) but that’s not why I like this place. The food is authentic. Reminds me of my Nonn-‘s cooking. Yes I am of American Italian descent. Great to go selection. Everything looks beautiful!
Minestrone soup (which can be such a tasteless soup made by so many) is totally flavorful full of beautiful vegetables!! Sandwich I had the Italian sub was on point and you’re talking to a New Yorker !
Thrilled to have found this awesome deli/eatery. By the way it’s super clean. Well organized in the staff is delightful and very helpful.

This place has saved the day for so many short-on-time dinners! The quality, from antipasti, to lunchtime sandwiches, to frozen house-made pastas, never lets us down. Somehow they have managed to consistently have friendly, helpful staff year after year, too!
*Their turkey meatballs are our favorite to take home and heat for pasta dishes or sandwiches. Mmmm

Oh my goodness, Porta Via rocks for sandwiches! First time here. Ordered the roasted leg of lamb, with roasted eggplant and olive tapenade, and some warmed au jous (my request). And a side chopped Brussel sprout salad. $17 out the door, and I was happy to pay it! The lamb was amazing. So was the chopped salad.
Top notch ingredients, reasonably priced, and very nice decor and ambiance both inside and out. I highly recommend Porta Via, and I will certainly be back!
