They are knowledgeable, honest, efficient, communicative, and overall the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever been to. The only con of their service is that their loyal customers keep coming back and the wait time to get your car seen keeps getting longer!

An absolute gem in a sea of uncertainty. Dan is incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgable -- and happy to explain the details and options in a very layman-friendly manner. Communication throughout was excellent, and I was able to pick up my car several days before I expected. I have an odd car too, so tracking down the parts was in itself no small feat. Will happily travel here from mid-city in the future for all auto work, since a trustworthy mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommended.

Dan is the best! We had engine trouble nearby while trying to get back home to NorCal. They were busy but he made sure to fit us in and get us back on the road when he easily could've said no. Forever grateful. Could've charged us double without issue, but was fair and honest. No wonder the ratings are so good.

I highly recommend North Hollywood Auto Repair! I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and honest. Dan took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my car, gave me a fair estimate, and finished the work even sooner than expected. I really appreciate the transparency, quality of work, and genuine care they showed. I’ll definitely be coming back for all my future service needs and recommending them to friends and family.

I've been having some car troubles in recent months and both Dan & John at North Hollywood Auto Repair have been so kind and helpful! I truly cannot say enough great things about my encounters with them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, reliable auto shop in the North Hollywood/Burbank area.
They were able to see me two separate times for a quick diagnostic scan due to my check engine being on. It was so convenient just being able to call and come-in same day with no prior appointment for these scans. Then after I decided I wanted to get a more in-depth check-up on my car, they were able to get me an appointment within the week, which was such a relief.
As far as pricing, I felt everything was very fair and transparent. They called me and got my permission before starting on any work that would add extra costs to my final bill. They also provided me with an itemized invoice and a copy of the inspection report so I could see exactly what the cost breakdown of everything was. There were no hidden charges and they never tried to pressure me into any extra or unnecessary services.
Best of all though, they were so kind and considerate every step of the way. Dan provided extremely thorough explanations and broke down what he was seeing in my car. He also shared pictures and videos to give me a clear visual of the issues he was describing. As someone who doesn't know much about the inner workings of a car, this was so helpful! I really do appreciate all the extra time he took explaining things to me.
