I recently stopped by the IHOP in Encino and ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Omelette, which was very good. A nice perk is their current special: when you order an omelette, you also get unlimited pancakes — definitely a good value. I do think they need to expand their vegetarian options though, since right now there are only a couple of choices on the menu.
However, I was a little disappointed that the omelette doesn’t come with any bread or toast on the side, which was quite surprising.
The location itself is smaller than some other IHOPs I’ve been to, but the patio dining is pleasant and makes up for it. There’s also a free parking lot, which is really convenient. If you download the IHOP app, you can get a free breakfast item on your next visit, which is a nice bonus.
Service was excellent — my waitress, Thalia was extremely fast, attentive, and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a good spot for a hearty breakfast in Encino, especially if you enjoy omelettes and pancakes.

It was past 12:00 a.m. when I craved their food. It's been a while since I've been to any ihop so I came to dine in.
I ordered their chicken quesadilla and their version of it is different. It's not cheese, onions, and chicken like usually served somewhere else. But it's veggies,cheese, and chicken breast which tastes like chicken sausages.
I also ordered the seafood sampler which was good.

Stopped for a late dinner, open 24hrs. Service was awesome, Food terrific & served fairly fast. The dining area surprisingly clean! Recommended!

I have to admit I have not been here in years mainly due to the fact that they serve Pepsi and I’m a Diet Coke guy. But I really enjoyed the blue berry pancakes and the flavored syrups were as fun as I remembered. We had good service I think it was 5 am so that surprised me as did how much I enjoyed the pancakes. That being said why do all these breakfast places serve limp bacon. Don’t most people prefer crispy bacon? The other shocking thing was the $20 price tag for the combo plate

I had a lovely breakfast this morning at IHOP. I ordered the Spinach and Mushroom Omelette—it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. What made the visit extra special was my server, Letty. She always remembers my name and greets me with a smile, making me feel truly welcome every time I come in. Her friendly service and attention to detail make all the difference. Thank you, Letty, for another great experience!
