I recently visited IHOP and had such a great experience thanks to Lily! She was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we sat down. Lily created a comfortable and friendly environment that made our visit even more enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to answer all of our questions, helping us choose exactly what we were in the mood for. Her great customer service truly stood out and made a big difference in our experience. Because of Lily’s attentiveness and positive attitude, we’ll definitely be visiting again soon. I recently stopped by the IHOP in Encino and ordered the Spinach & Mushroom Omelette, which was very good. A nice perk is their current special: when you order an omelette, you also get unlimited pancakes — definitely a good value. I do think they need to expand their vegetarian options though, since right now there are only a couple of choices on the menu.
However, I was a little disappointed that the omelette doesn’t come with any bread or toast on the side, which was quite surprising.
The location itself is smaller than some other IHOPs I’ve been to, but the patio dining is pleasant and makes up for it. There’s also a free parking lot, which is really convenient. If you download the IHOP app, you can get a free breakfast item on your next visit, which is a nice bonus.
Service was excellent — my waitress, Thalia was extremely fast, attentive, and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a good spot for a hearty breakfast in Encino, especially if you enjoy omelettes and pancakes.

On 3/05/26 Our waitress was a light skinned blonde lady with a bun, and wearing a pink shirt. She had a slight attitude and was being passive aggressive. My mom and I were eating breakfast and wanted to have 2 separate transactions, I had a coupon for myself that the manager gave me himself and she had points to get my younger brother a free kids meal with pancoins and she bought herself a meal. When we wanted to use our coupons she said no its only 1 per transaction and we said yes we know we have two separate transactions. Then suddenly shes like oh its one coupon per table, which makes NO SENSE because when large parties have seperate transactions and have their own apps and coupons why would it be 1 per table? Just because theyre sitting together? We didnt want to argue so we just paid for it. But what really ticked us off is that the waitress, she herself WITHOUT my mothers knowledge tried giving herself a $9 tip after my mom had to pay $40. My mom noticed and canceled it because my mom did not circle or write that down, the waitress wrote it down by herself. Which should be illegal because thats stealing money and she should be fired. They also made our food disgusting and half done. At least my younger brother had gotten his food correctly but mine and my moms did not.
We usually never had issues her from all the times ive come her but that employee in particular made this the worst experience.

Jose our server gave us great service. He welcomed our family with a smile. Came with my daughter and husband after church service; we ordered the breakfast sampler. Food came out fast and hot. We truly enjoyed our service here! 10/10!
