WORST place ever to shop! My first and last at these particular stores. If I could give them a five star BELLOW, I would.
I was standing at the checkout paying behind two ladies waiting inline to checkout and pay assuming it’s waiting line for checkout. After the ladies move to cashier I’m supposed to be next, right. All of the sudden this lady cuts me off in front so I have the right to speak up say something so I did, but she went off on me arguing. No one is saying something , associated or manager, instead he took her side ,being nice to her and helping her. That’s when I asked where’s the manager I like to speak with him. well that was the manager helping the lady talking and laughing with her like was funny what had happened. Then he came to help me with receipt because it wasn’t printing. He was rude and had attitude.
I felt disrespected, discriminated the way manager treated me. He continued arguing, then another lady started arguing which it’s not her business I said I’m not talking to you I’m talking to the manager, not you.
Again, manager gets her side instead being professional calming the situation down. And I can go on and on, etc.
I felt disgusting sick and discriminated by the store manager at the Fallbrook location.

What a great store . Nice variety of things to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff. Extra shout out to cashier Robert , he was AWESOME . SO very friendly and SUPER helpful .

Tuesday, October 10th, 2023 around 2:20 p.m. PST
I just left this specific location. I observed how the employees interacted with the customers when they walked in and during checkout. When I was a Five Below employee, we were trained to get customers set up for checking out and they scanned their own items. Based on this specific location, I observed several customers checking out on their own like I was trained when I walked in the store. Once I got to checkout, I noticed that the employees were on break or in the back and the woman at the front was the manager. I knew who she was, but, she didn't realize that 😉😏 (that's why you treat everyone the same, no discrimination at all). So, once I got to the register to check myself out, the manager walked over. I informed her that I knew how to check myself out because I use to work for the company. She then lied and said that they no longer allow "self checkout," when I clearly saw the other employees letting people do it themselves. She then had the audacity to try to go back and forth with me. I stated to her that, I'm a private person and don't like anyone trying to keep up with what I'm spending, etc. because it's no one's business. So, I the covered the screen to block the total. She then made the smart remark, "I know how to add."
Keep in mind, she's the "so-called," manager who clearly desires to be in the unemployment line. I told her I was wasn't going back with her and to please just walk away...she did just that. Keep in mind, she doesn't know who I am.
All in all, Corporate please follow the necessary disciplinary steps to address the woman manager who was on scheduled on today, Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. (I checked out around 2:20 p.m. PST)
Also, I believe she was of the Hispanic ethnicity and I am African American woman. So, I really don't want to throw out the race card...but, I'm not oblivious that racism still exist. The other customers she interacted with including a little boy where all of the white ethnicity. Makes you wonder right?!?!
This was unacceptable!!!

They had BETTER posters than any five below I’ve went to. The only part I personally didn’t like was there was not any Billie eilish posters and mainly LeBron☹️😢😭 But otherwise I loved it and they’re takis weren’t like any other takis I’ve tasted; they had extra dust😋😛😁

I did not like it. No quality items. Dollar Tree, dd's and Daiso weren't bad enough. This place is definitely not for me.
