I brought my car to Big Q Auto Repair for a routine oil change — and they damaged my car during the process. They promised to send me camera footage to show what happened, but after I followed up multiple times (6 or 7 follow-ups via phone and email), they tried to tell me that they don’t even keep footage — they only have a live feed. Which is strange considering I was promised a copy of the footage that the supervisor had reportedly already seen.
Worse, they’ve refused to respond to me or my attorney, and they still won’t take responsibility or cover the cost of the damage they caused. The repair requires me changing my entire front bumper and is going to cost me over $2k.
Save yourself the headache — find an honest shop that stands by their work and respects their customers. I regret ever trusting Big Q Auto Repair and hope this review saves someone else from the same experience.

Big Q replaced the radiator on my Mercedes earlier this year. Recently, the car suddenly stopped in the middle of a busy street. After inspection at another shop, it was confirmed that the transmission fluid hose connection to the radiator had been loosely reinstalled. This caused the hose to disconnect and all the fluid to drain out.
This was not a malicious issue, but it was a serious and dangerous mistake. When I called Big Q to inform them, the manager stated that the hose may have been tampered with or that the vehicle had been taken off-road (car is driven twice a week to take child to school). Hearing this was surprising, as I was simply reporting the findings from the other shop.
Due to both the critical nature of the error and the way my concern was addressed, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this shop for service.

Jason, had a disappointing experience at Big Q Auto that I feel compelled to share. After paying $4,000 for service, Jason was shocked to return and find his back window smashed while my car was on their property. When he brought this to the attention of Eric, the manager, he expected some understanding or at least a willingness to help. Instead, he was met with a dismissive attitude that was both frustrating and unprofessional. They did tape up the back window and refused to pay a new window.
It's one thing to deal with an unfortunate incident, but Eric's response left a bad taste in his mouth. He seemed more interested in brushing off than addressing the issue or taking responsibility.
Jason would not recommend Big Q Auto based on this experience. Good customer service is crucial, especially when mistakes happen, and unfortunately, this place fell short. Save your money and look elsewhere!

Don't take your car here. They will waste your time and money. Terrible communication and terrible quality of work. They will leave your car unfinished, I had to come back multiple times because they couldn't get it right the first time. Incredibly unprofessional, the manager Erick even admitted to me that they have been having serious problems with their mechanics. Find a different shop, don't go here.

Really poor experience all around. Had a broken mirror, the cashier ordered me a new one that would take a few days. He assured me it was the correct mirror and that it was special order so would take a few days. They forgot to follow up when it arrived which cost me a day until I had to follow up. Once I brought the car in, I received a call that the wrong mirror had been ordered. It wouldn’t have a blind spot detector and the right part would be another $350 and take 4 more days to arrive. I asked if everything else other than the blind spot detector was a perfect match. I was told yes, so I asked them to install the mirror. When I arrived to pick up the car, the new mirror was a black plastic finished mirror, and my other mirror was chrome backed. They almost had me drive off with two completely different mirrors after paying in advance for the service. When they realized the error, I was told it was lunch hour and it would be about 30 minutes, and then I waited in the lobby for two hours with no apology for all the inconvenience and poor work. Disorganized, lack of follow through, poor quality work, and zero customer service.
