When I first used Nexgen I had them install a brand new system in my home I was doing a remodel too from the ground up. A rep. named Jeff Larson was as professional as could be and designed an awesome system. He deserves 5 stars. Too bad the first foul was with the installers. They forgot to hook up one of the handlers and had to put a hole in my new drywall. Even worse they left a live line in there. The lead installer told me it was fine and didn’t need attention. They just had to cut a hole in the new drywall and now put a junction box, that I told him he had to put in, because you can’t have wire nuts in the wall. Even though he swore up and down it’s fine. Yeah right. B.S. Then my electrician came by who was working on the house and used his meter on it. Picture 1. 230 volts. Yeah it’s fine. Now I pay them monthly to have them come service my AC and tankless water heater. It’s gets the work done for free but costs 180 a year. It’s about a fair deal as long as you use it. The problem I have with it is it just feels like an opportunity for them to try and sell overpriced services. Like their proprietary cool cleaning for 500 bucks. I know people fall for this scam. Ask any AC guy. All you really need to do is spray them with water. If you do this coil cleaning twice a year for 2 years you’ve already bought a new condenser.
Nexgens over head is so astronomical they now charge the SH out of people to do any work. This is another laughable one. They wanted to charge me 12,000 dollars to install a tiny mini split. Instead I bought the unit for 1200 and did most the install my self and found some one to charge the lines that charged me 100 dollars. And this guy is a pro that I still use today for projects. I think I am going to just give him the 180 bucks to do the service work for now on since Nexgen likes to pester me for a review for coming over, taking at least 30 photos of my AC, replacing just one of the 8 filters in my house, then trying to upsell me on some service for 500 bucks that is not needed. Juan Jimenez from Nexgen did fantastic work. He was very knowledgeable and professional the entire time working on my unit. He made sure that our AC unit worked well and got the output temperature nice and ice cold. Juan informed us of the variety of additional products and services that Nexgen offers without being intrusive or pushy, which I greatly appreciated. I will continue to have my AC unit serviced by Nexgen because of professionals like Juan.

The Project Manager, Daniel and the Service Technician, Juan were outstanding and very knowledge. Being a senior citizen, I appreciated their patience and in depth explanations of the problems with my air conditioning units. Although, this was my first meeting with NextGen, and I decided to do my due diligence and obtain 2 other estimates, I am confident that this company is very reputable and performs outstanding work.

Very professional, courteous, and thorough. The tech mentioned we needed a few things, but there was no hard-sell "You need this or it breaks" kind of tactic. They came out to troubleshoot a non-starting furnace, and while he was here, the tech also asked to check out our A/C unit as well. Again, no hard sell, just suggestions to improve our system. Earlier we signed up for their $15/month "retainer" rather than pay for the $88/diagnostic visit, which includes 6 month checkups, so there was no charge for this current troubleshooting visit.

Christopher has been a great tech. His focus on getting the job done correctly has been consistent over this past year. His attention to detail is appreciated and I always request him for my AC services.
