I visited this bakery for the first time, and was surprised by the number of visitors on a weekday morning. We ordered croissants with bacon, tea and coffee, and a cake. The croissant was extremely tasty, crispy, and fresh. The cake looked like a work of art, beautifully decorated and with a delicate, moderately sweet cream. I will come back here again. But you should keep in mind that the establishment is so popular that on weekends and holidays the line of people stretches far beyond the bakery.

Gotta give this place one of my rare 5-star reviews. The food is just really good, and nothing like I've had on the East coast. So maybe this place is just "good" by L.A. standards, but I'm pretty star struck here. Can't wait to come back and have more. Hope you guys are doing okay with those wildfires.

The line was busy but that's expected for most Porto's. The food came out relatively quickly. The High quality ingredients and well made. The guava lemonade was refreshing with unique guava flavor. I tried the coconut strudel for the first time and it was crisp and delicious.

Porto's Bakery is absolutely amazing! Every visit here feels like a mini celebration with the vibrant atmosphere and the delicious Cuban-inspired flavors. The bakery section is incredible - be sure to try the cheese rolls and potato balls, which are always fresh and absolutely mouthwatering.
One of the standout dishes on the menu is the Ropa Vieja Plato. This Cuban classic is prepared to perfection, with tender, shredded pork simmered in a flavorful sauce with bell peppers and onions. It's served with black beans, white rice, and sweet plantains, making for a perfectly balanced and satisfying meal.
The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the food quality is consistently excellent. Porto's is truly a must-visit in LA for anyone looking for a taste of authentic Cuban flavors. Highly recommend!

Had the Turkey and Candied Bacon sandwich. Well worth it. I'll get it again. Staff was good at their jobs and friendly.
