I remember when there was only one location in Glendale, I never minded the long lines because the food was always worth it. Their lines move deceptively fast though, so don’t let them deter you. The Burbank location is located right on the corner, you can’t miss it. You always have the option of ordering ahead online. I’m a huge fan of all their guava items. They also have seasonal items like the turkey potato balls during Thanksgiving. They definitely stay busy throughout the day, but they have plenty of seating if you want to dine in. Bathrooms available to customers as well.
It’s a great place. Their lechon plate is very good. My favorite desserts here are the milk and berries cake, chocolate twist, and fruit tart. But almost everything is good. There is a huge line though, I think the service could be better if they used an online ordering system
Porto’s Bakery and Cafe in Burbank is a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. The bakery is spacious and cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is courteous and efficient, and they always greet you with a smile. The spicy potato balls are the highlight of their menu, and they are worth every penny. They are golden brown balls of mashed potatoes, mixed with ground beef, onions, peppers, and spices, and deep-fried to perfection. I highly recommend trying them, you won't regret it. Portos bakery is one of my favorite spots in Burbank, and I can't wait to go back.
First off, going here there is a line outside. Don’t be discouraged it goes by fast than there are 2 lines inside on either side. Plenty of people working here to help get you your food. The desserts and food are AMAZING! Everything was great! The price was extremely reasonable too. You can get a plate/sandwich with a dessert for $11-15, you seriously can’t beat that. Always the detail in everything they make is superb, the etiquette is fine and precise. Highly recommend, this authentic place.
Easily the best Cuban sandwich I've had. The mango mousse was very savory. If you like caramel lattes, I would recommend have the dulce de leche latte. Its similar to caramel lattes but better. There was a line & we waited in total about 30 minutes from getting in line to getting our food. Its very popular because it is delicious & is definitely worth the wait.
