I've been going to North Hollywood Auto Repair for years, and Dan and John never fail to take amazing are of me. They're honest, dependable, and are part of my neighborhood (which I love). NHAR's technicians do excellent work, and I always leave feeling confident in my car. Great guys and a great local shop. Highly recommend!

I first heard of North Hollywood Auto Repair through a friend who gave them a glowing review for their service and honesty. Now, after bringing my own car, I can say with 100% certainty that this is the best auto shop I've ever visited in my life. The mechanics and staff were fast, efficient and incredibly kind to me. They got me in the day after a holiday and I received multiple updates directly from John while they were taking a look at my car, keeping me appraised of the progress.
Despite not knowing much about cars personally I left feeling more knowledgeable about my own vehicle. Needless to say if I ever need further repairs I will choose North Hollywood Auto Repair over any other shop, including the dealership. They've earned a life-long customer and I have already recommended them to all of my local friends and family.
I can't thank everyone there enough for the kindness they showed and the work they did.

Excellent shop. John and Dan are super responsive, and they communicate very well. Their prices are excellent -- despite providing the best service in town, they're very cost-effective. I fully trust them with my car.

Took my old Scion in because the battery light was on. They diagnosed a bad alternator, which I was expected. Dan called me and told me after they put the new alternator in, he didn't like the sound of it, so he ordered a different alternator. That was extra effort on their part, but very conscientious. They are good guys. They won't recommend stuff you don't need.
