When I first used Nexgen I had them install a brand new system in my home I was doing a remodel too from the ground up. A rep. named Jeff Larson was as professional as could be and designed an awesome system. He deserves 5 stars. Too bad the first foul was with the installers. They forgot to hook up one of the handlers and had to put a hole in my new drywall. Even worse they left a live line in there. The lead installer told me it was fine and didn’t need attention. They just had to cut a hole in the new drywall and now put a junction box, that I told him he had to put in, because you can’t have wire nuts in the wall. Even though he swore up and down it’s fine. Yeah right. B.S. Then my electrician came by who was working on the house and used his meter on it. Picture 1. 230 volts. Yeah it’s fine. Now I pay them monthly to have them come service my AC and tankless water heater. It’s gets the work done for free but costs 180 a year. It’s about a fair deal as long as you use it. The problem I have with it is it just feels like an opportunity for them to try and sell overpriced services. Like their proprietary cool cleaning for 500 bucks. I know people fall for this scam. Ask any AC guy. All you really need to do is spray them with water. If you do this coil cleaning twice a year for 2 years you’ve already bought a new condenser. Nexgens over head is so astronomical they now charge the SH out of people to do any work. This is another laughable one. They wanted to charge me 12,000 dollars to install a tiny mini split. Instead I bought the unit for 1200 and did most the install my self and found some one to charge the lines that charged me 100 dollars. And this guy is a pro that I still use today for projects. I think I am going to just give him the 180 bucks to do the service work for now on since Nexgen likes to pester me for a review for coming over, taking at least 30 photos of my AC, replacing just one of the 8 filters in my house, then trying to upsell me on some service for 500 bucks that is not needed. Well there is your review. Would you like another. Please send me another email. I’m sure I can think of more.

I purchased a “tune up” that wasn’t much of a tune up. No parts were cleaned or greased. It was more like a diagnostic where all you’re told is what’s wrong. Prices way too high. $700 to replace two $20 capacitors that simply clip in. All but 15min of work each. $600 to clean the blower fan. Way too much. Again…maybe 20min of work. The technician was very nice and professional. No complaints there. Just prices…unreasonable.

I cannot recommend this firm.First, they were to appear between 3 and 5 pmBut a guy called at 1130 twice while I was on phone.I called back and he asked if I would like to cancel.I said he'll no so I caved in and said to come up now.zupon arrival he parked a huge truck in the driveway, blocking other residents.Doesnt he have baking common sense. Then he asks; Where should I park? In the street parking Einstein. So he appeared and had no ladder. So I got my homes ladder which he used.He did a cursory examination and recommended two repairs totalling $1200. Then he said he could install a new heater for about $6000 00 but didn't say why I neededa new one Yes, it is an old system, but this guy really didn't inspect it as others have done No paperwork provided.Nothing.I don't trust this firm or it's employees or their attitude.I would NEVER hire them. There is a bad taste in my mouth following this encounter.

We had an issue with a clogged main sewer line and NexGen sent out Kyle who was very knowledgeable. He was able to quickly resolve the issue and explained everything with great detail. Phenomenal service! If we ever have an issue again we will be contacting them again. :)

It was supposed to be a service tuneup for $29. The technician was at my house almost 2.5 hours gave me a repair list of $9000. So the tuneup was never done. I’m not sure how he got that $9000 repair list out of my HVAC system, which is only six years old and there are no issues with it. I think it was a pile of bull. From $9000 dollars he brought it down to $5000 🙄 I would never allow. them into my house again. Run as fast as you can from this company!!!!
