Came here for a private event and was excited because I've never actually dined at Mimi's Cafe before. Up until this point, I had no idea it was a French-themed restaurant. The decor was cute with little touches of France all-around.
FOOD
- Corn Chowder: creamier than I expected but in a very good way. Not too much potato and definitely served at a decently hot temperature
- French Pot Roast: perfect portion, not too salty, and tender meat that did not require a knife. The carrots were the perfect firmness and the mushrooms were divine
- Bread Pudding: quite a miss if you’re a huge bread pudding fan. You can tell they baked this in a huge pan but at least the portion size is massive! The whiskey sauce was a nice twist.
Overall, I found that the restaurant was just alright. Given the ambiance and price range, the quality is definitely there. It's a very homey, comfortable vibe and one you'd definitely take your family to after church.

Great place for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Definitely gets super busy on Sunday mornings. Dinner is a more quiet experience which is nice. Love their French Onion Soup, Pot Roast, French Dip, Jambalaya, Pasta w/Crab, Shrimp, Bacon & the Hibachi Salmon. They make a great Quiche too. Servers are always attentive and nice.

Came for brunch and got a table right away. It was hard to decide on what to order, as everything looks so good! We got the cinnamon roll french toast, the egg white omelette, the stuffed French toast with fresh berries, and the mimosa flight. The mimosa flight was 3 full sized champagne flutes, for $15, which is a heck of a deal!! Liz is an amazing waitress and we can't wait to come back!

I have been going to Mimi's Cafe for about 16 years. I have never sent food back to kitchen, until today. I ordered a steak. I asked for a well done. The waitress brought the food, and l see blood on the plate. The stake was done medium rare. I sent back again to the kitchen, asked to be well done. They cooked two pieces well done, and the third one was again medium rare. The waitress said she informed the manger about the situation, however, manager never came out. Really POOR service. Music not as good as used to be. The place was empty. The place is going down hill. The menu was dirty and smelled like an old man's ass, not kidding you. We also bought muffins, they were small size not the usual big size l remember, tasted not so fresh, like they were left overs. Again, the person who packed the muffins mixed up the order. Total disaster. Absolutely horrible experience. We are not coming back there any time soon. How sad....
