October 2023 Yes! Oh come on! 5 stars here all the way. The service is exceptional, and the food is classic American. Today's service was provided by the letter K, the #12, Maria and Mercedes. Happy Hour Everyday from 3-9pm. You can't beat a good deal. I'll be back.
Nicer shop with friendly staff, not always my first choice if you want to eat something quickly, but this branch is fine!
Loved it today! Yesterday was Christmas and the spirit is still here. Food was good but service is where this location shines. Iris the manager is sweet and very kind. The server Maria was very kind. Always checking back and wearing the brightest smile. I love this location!
Today, on February 28, 2024, at location 22810 Vanowen St, West Hills, CA 91307, at around 11 A.M., we were seated with myself, my mom, and 8-month-old baby niece. We were harassed by a woman who was dining next to us. She verbally yelled and threatened to hit my niece if she wouldn’t stop smacking the table. We were physically moved across the whole restaurant while she was calling us profanity words and threatening my 8-month-old niece. We asked to speak to the manager and instead got sent to the assistant manager, named Nadia Garcia. She said there was nothing she was capable of doing and told us to handle the situation ourselves by contacting the police. She voiced that the woman was a regular customer and told us we already moved. My mom, niece, and I felt very uncomfortable, and our safety was more important, so we left. I feel unseen and unheard, and it’s completely unacceptable for your employee to condone violence and life-threatening situations. I would like to know what the policy is when it comes to hostile situations like this.
My family and I, 4 of us, come here for dinner every few weeks. We usually come here anytime from 5-7 p.m. Around this time we almost always have the same waitress. She is so kind and so sweet! We love coming here. However, I just have to say, what manager thinks it's appropriate to only have one waitress, one busboy, and one chef. The amount of times this specific IHOP is always full around dinner and you don't have more staff on deck? We see them working so hard, from trying to get everyone seated, orders down, food out, getting to-go orders packed, etc. It's ridiculous how little help they have. Today, there were THREE workers in total, and while we were there, there were at least 8 other parties of 4+. I hope the staff is very much appreciated because they are always so friendly and do their absolute best.
