I had the worst experience with this company. They sent a technician to our house for an estimate for air duct cleaning. The technician was extremely aggressive and pushy, moving my furniture without my consent to find the vents. He forced me to call my husband (who was at work) twice to sell his service. He unscrewed the metal grille on the ceiling and left it hanging while doing all these, and then, while he was measuring the size of the grille, still having it hanging up there, the grille fell on my cabinet top and caused a dent! Then, he was not apologetic by saying it was not his fault!!
I dislike people who fail to take responsibility. I called the company complaining about this, and the company promised $50 for the damage repair. It was not enough, but I was fed up with it and agreed. And you guessed it, the money never came!

Get Multiple Quotes and Do Your Research First
Before making any decisions.
I strongly recommend getting quotes from several companies and doing your own research to avoid being misled by partial or biased information.
Unfortunately, my experience with the representative I spoke to was disappointing. Despite my background as an A/C technician for buses—which share many components with residential systems—and having already gathered multiple quotes and done thorough research, I was treated as if I had no knowledge of the subject.
The rep dismissed ductless mini splits entirely, calling them “horrible,” but offered no explanation beyond vague aesthetic concerns. When I asked for specifics of why he doesn’t feel it would work, he said, “I don’t feel—my experience tells me,” but then failed to provide a single concrete reason why they wouldn’t work in my home. Aesthetic preferences are subjective, and I’m more than capable of deciding what looks right on my property.
Ironically, I wasn’t even set on mini splits at first, but they were a strong contender based on the data I had gathered. What turned me away from this company was the complete lack of a fact-based, informed discussion.
To top it off, the rep claimed the job “couldn’t be done for under $20,000,” even though no one from the company had actually come out to quote a mini split system—only a replacement for my existing rooftop unit.
By then, after this conversation I had already decided they wouldn’t be the right fit for the job.
Costco, I have to ask—who exactly are you sending to represent you in our homes?

When our A/C went out during a heat wave in August, we anticipated needing a new system which could take weeks. Leon came out and repaired the unit at a reasonable cost. Around the Clock annual maintenance plan is a good investment and probably saved us from a major replacement.
